\x0a \x0a \x0a Dear Nora,
\x0aFound you some new boyfriends.
\x0a\x0a
\x0a \x0a \x0a ok, this is the recipe i got from the domincan republican woman I taught kindergarten with in germany. look, let that go, i’ll explain that when you feel better…but for right now -
\x0a\x0a2 onions
\x0a2 red peppers
\x0a2 fresh lemons
\x0a3/4 bunch clintro (sp?)
\x0ahot sauce (good stuff)
\x0a2 tomatoes
goes a little something like this -
\x0a\x0achop up as much onion as you can stand. I like onion, so usually use 1 1/2 for sure. chop up red peppers (no seeds). 1/2 - 3/4 clintro…i generally us more of the leafy area. chop up tomatoes…but before you do, cut into quarters and de-seed them a little bit, taking out the more middle parts. kind of like the red peppers…don’t need the watery part of the tomato as much.
\x0a\x0amix. then add hot sauce (as much as you can stand)…and the hot sauce should be the good stuff. something with spanish on the label. then add the juice of 2 lemons.
\x0a\x0amix. eat with spoon on an empty stomach. you should sweat from the hot sauce and onions. and it will clean your system out as well if you know what i mean. but, kick that cold/sickness butt in no time.
